BACKGROUND

The National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF) is established with the objective of transforming unskilled and semi-skilled workforce into productive and skilled human resources in priority sectors and to support Government institutes, private companies, non-government organizations, industry skill councils, and industry associations for achieving this objective.

National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF)

National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF) has been established on May 16, 2017 under the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance as a company registered under the Companies Act, 1994. NHRDF has been registered as a “not-for-profit entity” which is established for funding skills development in the country. The Fund will ensure financial support to good quality public and private training providers so that they can continue delivery of market-responsive skills training to create a skilled workforce in line with the demand of domestic and international markets.

PencilBox Training Institute with NHRDF Project

PencilBox Training Institute is a Skills Training Provider (STP) under the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) and a Registered Training Organization (RTO) under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). Our mission is to provide international standard training in Bangladesh's IT sector to help build a skilled and competent workforce.

PencilBox Training Institute has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF) Project to provide skill training in two high-demand areas: Graphic Design for Freelancing and Digital Marketing for Freelancing . Under this collaboration, PencilBox will deliver industry-relevant, hands-on training to enhance the employability and freelancing potential of young individuals. This partnership reflects PencilBox’s continued commitment to building a skilled workforce and supporting national goals for sustainable human resource development.

Highlights:

• All the offered training programs are totally free.
• The minimum qualification to get enrolled in this training program is SSC / Equivalent Pass.
• One trainee can do only one training program under this project.
• Each trainee will be given an allowance according to the rules and regulations of the NHRDF. Trainee conveyance allowance and refreshment allowance will be provided by NHRDF through the trainee’s mobile banking channel at the end of training and assessment on an actual attendance basis. It is to be noted that at least 80% attendance for each of the trainees and completing the assessment is required for being eligible for these allowances.
• Women and People with special needs are encouraged to apply.
• Targeted trainees will be youth and young adults within 18–45 years of age for new entrants.

These training programs will be implemented in PencilBox Training Institute. There will be a selection procedure to get chance in these exclusive training programs.

To enroll in any NHRDF courses, an applicant must complete the online 'Registration Form'. To be more specific, trainee selection and enrolment process will go through the following process;

STEP 1: ONLINE REGISTRATION

Interested applicant can complete online registration using online registration platform of PencilBox Training Institute. For online registration, applicants need to provide following information:

• Personal details
• Educational qualification
• All the related information of the trainee

STEP 2: SHORT LISTING

Interested applicants will be invited to sit for an admission test. The format of the admission test could be the face-to-face interview, written or both. Applicants selected through the admission test will be notified for enrollment through SMS and email.

STEP 3: FINAL ENROLMENT

• Selected applicants will be duly enrolled on submission of necessary records including
  • Photocopy of NID/BRC
  • Documents relating to academic qualification
• A waiting list of suitable applicants will be maintained and considered in the upcoming/ next batches.
