Advancing Youth Employability
Through Skills

AYETS Project

The Advancing Youth Employment Through Skills (AYETS) project is designed to strengthen youth employability and build a future-ready digital workforce in Bangladesh. The initiative focuses on equipping young people with specialized ICT and freelancing skills that match the growing demands of the global digital economy.

Bangladesh’s rapidly growing freelance industry, which contributes significantly to the national economy and engages hundreds of thousands of freelancers, has created new opportunities for youth employment. However, many young people still face barriers, including outdated training curricula, limited access to advanced ICT skills, and insufficient career support.

AYETS aims to bridge these gaps by providing market-driven training in high-demand ICT sectors, including Cybersecurity, UI/UX Design, AI-driven Digital Marketing, Video Editing, Mobile App Development, and Data Analysis.

The project targets youth aged between 18–35 years and emphasizes inclusive participation by encouraging the involvement of women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Through industry collaboration, practical training, guidance on freelancing, and career development support, AYETS seeks to create sustainable employment opportunities and empower youth to establish themselves as successful freelancers and digital professionals.
