Advance Youth Employability Through Skills

The Advancing Youth Employment Through Skills (AYETS) project, supported by the MetLife Foundation and implemented by Swisscontact Bangladesh, is designed to strengthen youth employability and build a future-ready digital workforce in Bangladesh. The initiative focuses on equipping young people with specialized ICT and freelancing skills that match the growing demands of the global digital economy.

The Advancing Youth Employment Through Skills (AYETS) project, supported by the MetLife Foundation and implemented by Swisscontact Bangladesh, is designed to strengthen youth employability and build a future-ready digital workforce in Bangladesh. The initiative focuses on equipping young people with specialized ICT and freelancing skills that match the growing demands of the global digital econoBangladesh’s rapidly growing freelance industry, which contributes significantly to the national economy and engages hundreds of thousands of freelancers, has created new opportunities for youth employment. However, many young people still face barriers such as outdated training curricula, limited access to advanced ICT skills, and insufficient career support. AYETS aims to bridge these gaps by providing market-driven training in high-demand ICT sectors including Cybersecurity, UI/UX Design, AI-driven Digital Marketing, Mobile App Development, and Data Analysis.

The project targets youth aged between 18–35 years and emphasizes inclusive participation by encouraging the involvement of women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Through industry collaboration, practical training, freelancing guidance, and career development support, AYETS seeks to create sustainable employment opportunities and empower youth to establish themselves as successful freelancers and digital professionals.

PencilBox Training Institute WITH AYETS PROJECTS

PencilBox Training Institute is proudly partnering with Swisscontact Bangladesh under the AYETS Project to implement high-quality ICT skills training programs for Bangladeshi youth. Through this collaboration, PencilBox will provide industry-focused training and practical learning opportunities to help participants build successful careers in the digital and freelancing sectors.

With modern technology-based classrooms, fully equipped training labs, experienced trainers, and a strong focus on practical learning, PencilBox Training Institute aims to deliver professional training in advanced ICT trades such as AI Driven Digital Marketing for Freelancing, AI Driven Video editing for freelancing, and other emerging technology sectors.

As part of the AYETS initiative, PencilBox Training Institute is committed to empowering youth with employable skills, freelancing capabilities, and entrepreneurial knowledge that contribute to sustainable income generation and long-term career growth. The partnership reflects PencilBox’s dedication to supporting Bangladesh’s digital transformation by creating a skilled, confident, and future-ready workforce.

Admission Journey

From application to enrolment

Step 1 Online Registration

Complete the registration form with your personal details, educational qualification and related information.

Step 2 Short Listing

Selected applicants are invited for a face-to-face interview and notified for enrolment.

Step 3 Pre-Training Orientation

Shortlisted candidates attend an orientation workshop covering the BYETS project in detail.

Step 4 Final Enrolment

Submit NID/BRC and academic documents to confirm your seat. Waiting list applies for next batches.
